Uplifting Climate Change Activists

Climate change is a talking point that has been discussed for decades. It is now at the forefront of global problems such as large-scale fires, floods, deadly hurricanes, significant financial losses, and even a change in the topography of our planet. It has been well-reported that climate change has a significant and disproportionate impact on BIPOC communities, such as natural disasters, lack of access to clean water and air, environmentally-based illnesses, and food justice. This is known as environmental racism, and we must be proactive simultaneously in our fight against climate change and for racial equity. The focus of climate change activists varies from zero-waste, slow fashion, and diversity and representation outdoors. As you continue the Veggie Mijas Veganuary Challenges, follow these activists for tips to protect our planet by living a more sustainable lifestyle.
